In 2014, Perth artist Rebecca Baumann collaborated with designers Luke Sales and Anna Plunkett of fashion label Romance was Born to create Reflected Glory.

Her latest installation, Manoeuvres, was commissioned by Fremantle Arts Centre, and it’s a kaleidoscope of colour and light. It follows on from her interactive work Confetti International (2007) and her critically acclaimed kinetic installation Automated Colour Field (2011).

Her title work is a series of electromagnetic flip dot displays, which will be arranged in a spatial field throughout the gallery. “As you move through the installation, your experience will be altered as you encounter the work from various positions within the gallery”, Baumann explained.
