Rebeca Tavares makes her point after Fabinho scores for Liverpool

Liverpool produced a much-improved performance against Crystal Palace to make it 16 wins from 16 home matches in the Premier League this season, with some spectacular goals paving the way to the three points.

Trent Alexander-Arnold's free-kick sailed into the top corner for 1-0, before Mohamed Salah made it 2-0 with a fantastic assist from Fabinho.

And then Fabinho himself got onto the scoresheet with a long-range effort that fired past Vicente Guaita.

Sadio Mane rounded things off with a great goal after good link up play from Salah and Roberto Firmino.

Fabinho's wife, Rebeca Tavares was quick to respond on social media.

She tweeted a simple message to her followers as her other half hit back at the criticism aimed towards Fabinho during the 0-0 draw with Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday.

It was the second incredible long-range strike that the Brazilian holding midfielder has scored this season.

He also netted a similar strike against Manchester City in the first half of the campaign.

Liverpool are now 23 points clear at the summit of the Premier League table and will confirm their crown tomorrow night should Manchester City fail to win against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
