Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas have reportedly split after nine months of dating.
The Mission Impossible actor, 63, and Knives Out star, 37, were first linked in February when they spent Valentine’s Day together in London’s Soho and have been spotted on numerous dates around the world since.
The duo reportedly went their separate ways after realising the “spark had gone”, according to The US Sun.
“Tom and Ana had a good time together but their time as a couple has run its course,” a source said.
“They are going to remain good friends but they aren't dating anymore. They just realized they weren't going to go the distance and that they are better off as mates.”
The insider added that the pair will still work together, as de Armas is reportedly starring in Cruise’s next project.
“The spark had gone between them but they still love each other's company and they've both been really adult about it. She's already been cast in his next film, so they will continue to work together,” the source stated.
The Standard has contacted representatives for Cruise and de Armas for comment.
De Armas and Cruise sparked romance rumours at the beginning of the year.
They were spotted together in the days leading up to Valentine’s Day and the actress’ birthday in April.
In May, they were caught at David Beckham’s 50th birthday party together and seen taking a private helicopter ride to London.
Cruise reportedly spent £4,000 to get de Armas to Heathrow Airport in his helicopter so she could catch a flight to New York City.
In June, they enjoyed a yacht holiday on the Spanish island of Menorca and were seen in London later that month.
The Hollywood stars were even spotted together at an Oasis gig at Wembley Stadium.
De Armas reportedly “liked” a shady post about Cruise’s ex Nicole Kidman’s looks in July.
The post, shared on the page Celeb Mess, featured a close-up photo of the 58-year-old smiling on the red carpet with the caption “when you keep it real” and tagged a dermal filler brand.
It also featured snippets of an interview Kidman did in which she shut down Botox rumours and said she was “completely natural”.
Cruise and Kidman were married from 1990 to 2001 and share two adopted children, Isabella, 32, and Connor, 30.
