Reason for Olivia Attwood's I'm A Celebrity exit teased: 'It will come out'

The reason Olivia Attwood left I'm A Celebrity has been teased as "it will come out."

The Love Island star made a shock exit yesterday, forced to tap out within 24 hours of landing in the jungle. ITV has said her departure was on the grounds of a "medical issue" but no specific details have been released so far.

Ex-campmate Peter Andre and entertainment journalist Lucie Cave joined Lorraine to discuss the departure, mysteriously teasing that the truth will soon come out.

Lucie said she was devastated Olivia had to leave as she thought she would've been hysterical television, confirming she "begged" ITV bosses to stay. She went on to say the reason, although remaining in secrecy, will be known to the public in due time.

She added: "It will come out. There's still speculation at the moment but it will come out."

A spokesperson for Olivia said, "heartbroken was an understatement" as they discussed her departure on her Instagram account. Their full message said: "To say Olivia is heartbroken is an understatement, she dreamed of doing ' I'm a Celeb ' for years, and was absolutely loving every second of the show and throwing herself into jungle life feet first (just as we knew she would).

"However, for reasons beyond her control her journey has been cut short. Your support and kind words have meant the absolute world to her, now as much as it always has.

They added: "You will hear the truth from Olivia in due course and she will be back on your screens in the New Year." It added: "PS. Who's going to roast Matt Hancock now?"
