Police say they are concerned for a 12-year-old girl who has gone missing from Romford.

Reanne Bell was last seen by her mother leaving their home at 3:30pm on Saturday.

She did not say where she was going and she has not gone missing before, the Met Police said.

Reanne's mother reported her disappearance at around 7.30pm and officers from the East Area Safeguarding Unit launched an investigation.

Enquiries established that she travelled by train from Romford to Shenfield where she arrived at 8.11pm

The Met Police said there is no further information as to her whereabouts after she left the station.

Reanne may be wearing a pink hoody with a "No Fear" logo, they added.

A spokesperson said: "Police are concerned for the safety and welfare of Reanne Bell, 12, who is missing from Romford."

"Anyone who may have seen her is asked to call police on 101 quoting CAD 5834/31Aug," they said.
