Reality star Stephen Bear to face trial over sex video charges

Celebrity Big Brother winner Stephen Bear vowed to “get his life back” as he appeared in court to deny allegations of filming himself having sex with a woman and posting the footage online.

The 31-year-old reality TV star is accused of secretly filming himself having sex with a woman, in footage that was then uploaded to PornHub and OnlyFans.

At Chelmsford crown court this morning Bear, wearing an off-white suit and pink shirt, appeared in the dock to deny voyeurism and two charges of disclosing sexual images without consent.

Judge Chris Morgan set the case down for a three-day trial which is due to start on February 7 next year.

“Thank you for that”, Bear said at the end of the hearing. “It’s nice to finally set a date when I can hopefully get my life back.”

It is said the sexual encounter was filmed on CCTV at Bear’s home on August 2 last year.

He is accused of posting the video online that day without consent, and again on November 8 last year.

Bear, from Walthamstow, worked as a roofer before becoming famous through reality TV. He has appeared on shows including Ex on the Beach and Shipwrecked, and won Celebrity Big Brother in 2016.

He will be on conditional bail until his trial, and must not contact the alleged victim, post pictures or videos of her on social media, or attend her home.
