A brutal reality show pushing contestants to their limits proved to be too much for one to handle after she was thrown off the programme for viciously headbutting a co-star.
Survivor strands participants on a remote island, challenging them to provide food, water, fire and shelter for themselves, as well as throwing various tasks into the mix.
It's been produced in many countries around the world, including the UK and America, and is currently being aired in Romania.
The cast includes former MMA fighter Ana Maria Pal, who took part in a head-to-head competition attempting to knock numbered blocks off their podiums by throwing balls at them.
It didn't go well for Ana, who still had five blocks remaining when her opponent completes the challenge, leading to a few cheeky remarks by one of her male co-stars.
Clearly irked by Andrei Ciobanu's behaviour, she fakes throwing a ball at him before squaring up and launching herself into a headbutt - breaking his nose.
Andrei crumples to the ground holding his face as some stand with their hands to their mouths in shock while others rush to his aid.
Ana was immediately kicked off the show with producers stating she had violated the rules of the competition with her unsportsmanlike gesture, as reported by the Daily Mail.
It's reported that she said Andrei 'deserved' the attack which took place during filming in Dominican Republic.
Show presenter Dan Cruceru told CanCan: "I saw a terrible moment, a shocking moment. I saw a competitor hit in the face by another competitor.
"Unfortunately, Ana Pal lost her temper. What Ana did was a shocking gesture, a gesture that we hoped we would not see.
"We will not tolerate such behavior in Survivor, and our decision was that Ana Pal should not return to the island."
