'Real talent' - Nottingham Forest youngster impresses on loan debut

Brennan Johnson made an encouraging debut as Lincoln City bounced back from their 7-2 Carabao Cup thrashing by Liverpool.

The Nottingham Forest midfielder, 19, came off the bench after 69 minutes of Sunday's 2-0 win over Charlton Athletic in League One.

He played in the number 10 role behind Tom Hopper, gaining a positive review from Lincolnshire Live having joined on a season-long loan.

Giving him a rating of seven out of 10, they wrote: "Was in the thick of the action straight away, playing just behind Hopper. Looks a real talent."

Former Red, Jorge Grant, gave Lincoln the lead after his penalty was saved by Ben Amos with Grant putting away the rebound.

The Imps sealed the three points late on when Lewis Montsma headed home his fourth goal of the season, heading in Grant's corner.
