'Real passion' - Arsenal fans crying at what Rob Holding did against Wolves

Arsenal fans have noticed an eye-catching moment involving Rob Holding during their side's home defeat to Wolves on Sunday.

It was a disappointing evening for the Gunners at the Emirates Stadium, Mikel Arteta's men slipping up again following goals from Pedro Neto and Daniel Podence either side of Gabriel Magalhaes' header.

But towards the end of what proved another painful experience at home, there was a moment every Arsenal fan could appreciate with defender Holding making his point to referee Michael Oliver.

After Adama Traore won a free-kick from Holding, who was booked for the incident in the second half, the Gunners man picked up the ball and threw it away in frustration, screaming "He's built like a brick s***house, how's he gone down like that?!"

That outburst has got Arsenal fans talking on social media with plenty enjoying the clip of one of their players showing his frustration.

Foul language isn't encouraged in the game, but fans will always want to see some grit and passion from players when things aren't going well, and that's very much the case for the Gunners in the Premier League.

One supporter tweeted: "The highlight of the game," whilst another wrote: "Only a few players like him feel playing for Arsenal is more than a job.... Real passion."

While Arteta's men have done well in the Europa League, securing a knockout spot with two games to spare, they have struggled domestically, now sitting 14th with just 13 points from 10 games ahead of next week's derby with Spurs.

Arsenal are next in action against Rapid Wien during the week when Arteta will likely rest players ahead of next weekend's North derby with Tottenham.

Pressure will be on for Arteta for that Spurs clash, particularly on the back of the poor start the Gunners have made to the season after spending considerably in the summer window.
