Real Madrid have omitted Vinicius Junior from their matchday squad for tonight's Champions League tie against Paris Saint-Germain.
The 19-year-old Brazilian was expected to return after he was excluded for the La Liga game against Real Sociedad on Saturday, which Los Blancos won 3-1.
However, he will have to watch this match from the sidelines as well after he was not named in Zinedine Zidane’s 19-man list on Monday.
Striker Luka Jovic is included and is one of five forwards called up, along with Karim Benzema, Gareth Bale, Eden Hazard and Rodrygo.
Lucas Vazquez, James Rodriguez, Marco Asensio and Nacho all miss out through injury, while there is no place in the squad for Mariano or Alvaro Odriozola.
Meanwhile, Neymar is available again for PSG and the Brazilian is expected to start alongside Kylian Mbappe for the first time this season.
Marco Verratti has also travelled to Madrid after missing the weekend win over Lille. The Italian midfielder is set to feature, but Ander Herrera, Layvin Kurzawa, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Thilo Kehrer are all sidelined.
Keylor Navas should start in goal and the Costa Rican will receive a warm welcome from fans on his return to the Bernabeu, having played an important part in the three Champions League titles won by the Spanish side in Zidane’s first spell as coach.
