Real Madrid will be without Casemiro for tonight's LaLiga clash at home to Real Mallorca, while Sergio Ramos is also expected to miss out.
Casemiro picked up a yellow card in the 2-1 win at Real Sociedad on Sunday and will be suspended for the next game at the Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano, where Los Blancos are playing their remaining home matches as renovation work continues at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The absence of Casemiro should see Zinedine Zidane opt for the more defensive-minded Ferland Mendy at left-back instead of Marcelo, while Fede Valverde will almost certainly start in midfield.
Meanwhile, captain Ramos took a heavy knock at Anoeta and is likely to be rested as a precaution, with Eder Militao coming in alongside Raphael Varane at the back.
Luka Modric will return to the line-up after appearing only as a late substitute on Sunday and Marco Asensio could also feature as a starter against the club where he began his career, although the 24-year-old is not ready to play 90 minutes after his long injury lay-off.
Eden Hazard will also be back after he was rested against Real Sociedad, while Gareth Bale is in contention for his first start since LaLiga returned earlier this month.
The Welsh winger has played only 29 minutes across four matches since the restart, but could come in on the right side for this match.
Youngster Rodrygo is another alternative, as is Asensio.
Isco is also included in the squad after making a quick recovery from a hamstring injury, but the midfielder is not expected to play much of a part against Mallorca.
Meanwhile, Luka Jovic, Lucas Vazquez and Nacho all remain sidelined.
Real Madrid predicted XI: Courtois; Carvajal, Varane, Militao, Mendy; Modric, Valverde, Kroos; Bale, Benzema, Hazard
Real Mallorca predicted XI: Reina; Pozo, Valjent, Raillo, Gamez; Baba, Rodriguez, Sevilla, Kubo; Cuchu, Budimir
