Zidane has therefore turned to utility defender Nacho on the right, while 20-year-old right-sided centre-back Victor Chust is on the bench.

In the Belgian’s continued absence, Zidane hands a first start of the season to Marco Asensio, having said in his pre-match press conference on Saturday that he hoped the Spanish international would help the team to score more goals.
