Real Madrid vs Osasuna: Prediction, live stream, TV channel, team news - La Liga 2019-20 preview

Real Madrid vs Osasuna
LaLiga 2019-20
Venue: Santiago Bernabeu
Date: Wednesday, 25th September, 2019
Kick-off time: 8pm BST

Real Madrid welcome Osasuna to the Bernabeu on Wednesday night with Zinedine Zidane breathing a little easier after a much-needed weekend win.

Karim Benzema's header secured a valuable 1-0 victory at Sevilla last weekend, easing the pressure on Zidane - especially given that he came up against former Real boss Julen Lopetegui.

With Real sitting third in the table, Zidane will be hoping for another win to take advantage of Barcelona's poor start to the season.

Real Madrid team news and predicted lineup

Zidane has been further frustrated by injury issues with defender Ferland Mendy to miss the clash with Osasuna.

Zidane, who has also lost attacker Marco Asensio to a long-term knee injury, hinted there is a chance that midfielders Luka Modric and Isco could be fit, having missed the club's last four league games.

Marcelo's back problem, which has seen the Brazilian miss the past week, might not be as bad as first feared either.

Real Madrid XI: Courtois, Carvajal, Varane, Ramos, Marcelo, Casemiro, Kroos, Bale, Rodriguez, Hazard, Benzema

Prediction: Real Madrid 2-0 Osasuna

Los Blancos may find it tough going early doors given that Osasuna have drawn four of their opening five games, conceding just three goals.

However, chances should open up as the game wears on - and Real have enough talent on the bench to make the difference in the final third of the game.
