Real Madrid vs Barcelona: El Clasico time and date revealed for LaLiga clash

The time and date of the next Clasico clash between Real Madrid and Barcelona have been announced.

Barca and Real drew 0-0 at Camp Nou in December in a reorganised fixture, which was postponed due to political protests in the city in October and was marred by clashes outside the stadium.

It was the first time the famous fixture had ended goalless in 17 years and saw the two teams stay level at the top of the table. Barca then moved back ahead before Christmas, but now lead on goal difference alone.

The two rivals meet again in the 26th round of matches and at a launch event for LaLigaTV in London on Wednesday, president Javier Tebas revealed the date and time of the next Clasico.

Madrid will host Barca on Sunday March 1 at the Santiago Bernabeu, with kick-off scheduled for 9pm CET (8pm UK time).

It will be the first Clasico for new Barcelona coach Quique Setien, who took over from Ernesto Valverde at the Catalan club on Monday.
