2019 International Champions Cup
Venue: MetLife Stadium, New Jersey, USA
Kick-off time: 1am BST, Saturday 27 July
The Madrid derbi comes to New Jersey as fierce city rivals Real and Atletico meet in the the International Champions Cup on Saturday.
Real's pre-season started with a 3-1 defeat to the Bundesliga champions and looked to be heading for another against Arsenal, but Zinedine Zidane's side rallied to draw 2-2 with the Gunners before winning the penalty shootout 3-2.
As for Diego Simeone's Atletico - who beat Los Colchoneros beat Guadalajara 5-4 on penalties to kick off their summer - Los Colchoneros are seeking a statement result as they face a transition season without Antoine Griezmann leading the attack.
Here's what you need to know...
Real Madrid vs Atletico predicted lineups and team news
Zidane will be without Marco Asensio, who is likely out for the season after suffering a serious knee injury against Arsenal.#
Gareth Bale could be in with a chance of starting after impressing off the bench against the Gunners, though Zidane insists that "nothing has changed" regarding his desire to sell the Welsh forward despite Asensio's injury.
Nacho was sent off for handball in the same match, so will be suspended for this game - as is Marcos Llorente, who was dismissed vs Guadalajara.
Angel Correa has reached an agreement to join AC Milan, so Dego Costa should continue up top with Alvaro Morata.
Real XI: Courtois, Odriozola, Ramos, Varane, Mendy, Vazquez, Modric, Kroos, Isco, Jovic, Vinicius
Atletico XI: Oblak, Trippier, Savic, Hermoso, Lodi, Vitolo, Koke, Saul, Lemar, Morata, Costa
Prediction: Real Madrid 1-1 Atletico (Real to win penalty shootout)
Real's fightback against Arsenal should stand them in good stead against Atleti. Expect a tight, tense game - with a possible red card or two - and Los Blancos to do what they usually do: win on spot-kicks.
