The revamped tournament format allowed the Madrid clubs to enter along with LaLiga champions Barcelona and Copa del Rey holders - and both trophy winners were beaten to ensure the Supercopa will be heading back to the Spanish capital.

TV channel: The match will not be shown live on TV in the UK. US viewers can watch the action on ESPN Sports, while Movistar will be screening the game in Spain adter RTVE - Spain's state-owned broadcaster - refused to bid to show the competition in protest.
