
Real Madrid are in the running for a fourth straight Champions League triumph look to dispatch Ajax this evening.
A controversial 2-1 win at the Johan Cruyff ArenA three weeks ago, which saw the hosts have an opening goal disallowed by VAR, leaves the European champions in pole position.
However, Sergio Ramos will be missing tonight - and the first leg of the quarter-finals should Real Madrid make it - after deliberating picking up a booking in the final stages. Uefa were not happy and handed him a further one-match suspension.
Anything less than Real Madrid's comfortable passage to the last eight will be catastrophic for Madrid and head coach Santiago Solari following back-to-back Clasico defeats ended all chances of domestic silverware this season.
Ajax - and especially Barcelona-bound Frenkie De Jong - are capable and will be ready to hand a further shock to Los Blancos' underwhelming season.
