Gareth Bale's revival at Tottenham has not convinced Real Madrid chiefs to change their plans for the Welsh superstar, according to reports.
Bale has been in sensational form of late with six goals and three assists in his last six appearances in all competitions.
The 31-year-old has cemented himself as a key man in Jose Mourinho's starting XI despite finding himself at loggerheads with the Portuguese manager for much of the season.
Bale returned to north London on a season-long loan from Real Madrid last September and the deal is not believed to include an option to extend for another year.
The forward's fine form may have convinced Zinedine Zidane to hand him another chance with Los Blancos.
But the Daily Mail reports the Santiago Bernabeu hierarchy remains intent on offloading Bale this summer, by which time he will have one year remaining on his contract.
Real Madrid are desparate to recoup some of the £85million they paid to sign Bale in 2013 and have their eyes on other transfers.
Selling the former Southampton man to free up funds is a priority as he takes home £650,000 per week, with Spurs currently contributing almost 40 per cent of that sum.
Real Madrid remain heavily linked with Borussia Dortmund ace Erling Haaland and Paris Saint-Germain sensation Kylian Mbappe as Zidane looks to freshen up his forward line.
The news will come as a boost to Spurs, who are expected to come calling for Bale if he is able to maintain his fine form.

Mourinho believes the player has turned a corner during his time at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium by putting his previous injury woes firmly behind him.
“It is not that we have challenged him or anything,” the Spurs boss told AS . “We have only supported him.
“I found psychological scars in him. When you are a couple of seasons with many injuries, the important thing is not only the muscular scars, but also the psychological ones, which bring fear and instability.
“There is a moment when you are working well and when everyone around you is supporting you to the maximum. At that moment the psychological barrier is broken.
“And he has done it. It was him, not us.”
While Spurs are in pole position to sign Bale or thrash out new loan terms this summer, Zidane's potential departure could lead to the player being offered a lifeline in the Spanish capital.
