Real Madrid 'to give Manchester United choice of two players with Paul Pogba offer'

Real Madrid are reportedly prepared to give Manchester United the chance to sign Isco as part of a player-plus-cash bid for Paul Pogba.

This report by Mundo Deportivo says Madrid are willing to part with €80million as well as either Isco or Gareth Bale in exchange for the World Cup-winning Frenchman.

Pogba's agent Mino Raiola confirmed the player's desire to leave United in an interview with The Times last week.

Meanwhile, United are reportedly preparing a bid for Newcastle midfielder Sean Longstaff.

However, Sky Sports say Newcastle will demand a fee in excess of £50million for the 21-year-old. Longstaff’s current deal at St James’ Park runs until 2022.

Elsewhere, Juventus have reportedly made an approach for United striker Romelu Lukaku.

However, Gianluca Di Marzio says it is not clear whether Juve are serious about signing the Belgian or they are just looking to complicate matters for Inter Milan. Lukaku is hopeful of securing a move to the San Siro this summer.

Another player who is being linked with a move to Italy is Nemanja Matic and he is said to be seeking talks with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after learning of interest in him from both Milan clubs.

ESPN claim Inter are prepared to offer £10million plus the Belgian midfielder Radja Nainggolan in exchange for Matic, while AC Milan are also credited with an interest in the 30-year-old.

The report adds Longstaff is considered by Solskjaer to be a potential long-term replacement for Matic.

And finally, Jose Mourinho has turned down the chance to return to management in China. That’s according to this Guardian report, which says Mourinho rejected an approach from Guangzhou Evergrande due to family reasons.

The report adds that Mourinho is eyeing a return to club management rather than an international job — despite comments he made to the contrary last month.
