Eden Hazard appears to be on the verge of swapping England for Spain.
It's the news Chelsea fans have been dreading as the Belgium international is expected to joy boyhood hero Zinedine Zidane at Real Madrid, who have been courting his services for a long time.
Although, supporters would have expected this day would eventually come following Hazard's comments after the Europa League final win over Arsenal last week.
"Yes, I think it's a goodbye," he told BT Sport. "But in football you never know.
"My dream was to play in the Premier League, I did this for seven years, and in the biggest club in the world.
"Now maybe it's time for a new challenge."
Reports in Spain at the weekend suggested that Madrid were hoping to complete negotiations over the coming days and unveil Hazard before linking up with the Red Devils for international duty.
However, Real Madrid's chief executive Jose Angel Sanchez reported reluctance to meet the Blues' asking price delayed the deal being done.
But it is understood that a deal will be struck at around €100m (£88million), and is likely to be made official at some point next week.
One player who will welcome Hazard to the Santiago Bernabeu with open arms is defender Carlos Carvajal who can't wait for the arrival of the Blues superstar.
"Hazard would add a lot to our attack, he is a player who wants the ball and does not hide."
