Real Madrid star Gareth Bale 'receives transfer offer that would see his wages DOUBLE'

Gareth Bale has reportedly received an offer from the Far East that would see his wages DOUBLED.

The Real Madrid winger has fallen down the pecking order in Spain and Zinedine Zidane is looking to offload him to free up funds to sign Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.

Bale is keen on staying put, but should the right deal come in for him then the Wales international will certainly consider his opinions.

The problem for most interested clubs is that Bale earns a staggering £480,000-a-week at Real Madrid and most of his suitors are simply not prepared to pay that sort of money.

Teams in the Far East are known for splashing the cash when it comes to wages, and according to El Chiringuito, Bale has received an offer that would see his salary doubled.

The only issue is that the Chinese Super League club, which haven't been named, are not prepared to pay a transfer fee for Bale, presumably due to the hit they'll be taking on his wages.

Real Madrid have no intention of accepting this offer as they are looking for a hefty transfer fee they can use to sign top target Pogba.

What's more, Bale, who isn't desperate to leave Real Madrid as it is, is very unlikely to want to join a Chinese Super League club at the age of 29.
