Tottenham Hotspur supporters have taken to social media after confirmation that the club has no intention of cashing in on Harry Kane in the summer transfer window.
Amid reports that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy would be willing to sell the striker, but only for £200m, football.london understands that is not the case as they don't want to do business with any Premier League club, including Manchester United.
But does that mean the north London outfit would be open to offers from abroad?
That is certainly the feeling among some Spurs fans, as seen by the reaction on Twitter.
Take a look at what's been said below...
With that said, Spurs supporters can rest easy as it would appear that Real Madrid are not interested in signing Kane.
That's according to reports in Spain.
Spanish publication Marca, claim that Los Blancos are looking to raid both Borussia Dortmund and Paris Saint-Germain in a bid to bolster their attacking options.
Madrid's reported plan is to sign Erling Haaland in a £66million deal - which is his release clause at Dortmund - this summer and then turn their attentions to Kylian Mbappe in 2021.
The France international's current deal at the Parc des Princes expires in the summer of 2022 so he could be available for a cut-price fee if the Ligue 1 giants don't extend his contract.
This scenario would be great news for Spurs as Real Madrid targeting Haaland and Mbappe in the next two transfer windows would almost certainly rule out a move for Kane.
