Real Madrid's summer transfer plans could affect Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United.
Los Blancos are coming off a poor 2018/2019 campaign.
They failed to defend their Champions League crown, were easily beaten by Barcelona in the Copa del Rey semi-final and finished third in La Liga - almost 20 points behind the champions.
Such low standards cost both Julen Lopetegui and Santiago Solari their jobs, but the season did end with Zinedine Zidane back at the helm less than a year after stepping down.
And in an attempt to erase the memory of last season, Madrid have got to work this summer in a very big way.
Arriving at the club are Eden Hazard, Luka Jovic, Eder Miltao, Ferland Mendy and Rodrygo with the possibility of more before the transfer window closes next month.
This spending spree which stands at roughly £266m, Zidane needs to offload some players to balance the books and one of those is expected to be Dani Ceballos who has been linked with both Spurs and Arsenal.
He even hinted as much in an interview with Spanish newspaper Marca , in which he outlined his plans for the future.
"I imagine Zidane will have seen it, but he has very clear ideas and we all know his thoughts," he said. "Now it's time to rest well, to disconnect after the season and in the next few weeks we'll think about the future.

"The most important thing in life is to be happy and that can only happen by playing 40 games a year. My personal goal for next season is to play 40 games and to be comfortable at all times. Wherever it is doesn't matter, but it has to be a place where I can feel valued.
"At the moment I have no preferred choice. What I know is that I want to enjoy next year and that I'm open to new challenges. I'd like to try new things."
However, the latest news coming out of Spain is that Real Madrid could be about to perform a u-turn on Ceballos.
Marca claim that Los Blancos kept an eye on the midfielder during the Euro U21 tournament and are now convinced he has what it takes to reach his potential in the Spanish capital.
In addition, the report states that a final decision won't be made until Ceballos returns to pre-season training and that the relationship between he and Zidane needs to be fixed.
Should Ceballos end up staying at the Santiago Bernabeu then it would be fantastic news for both Spurs and Man United.
Madrid have been tracking Christian Eriksen as well as Paul Pogba this summer, but keeping the 22-year-old would suggest they are not prepared to pay the Red Devils' asking price which is thought to be in the region of £180m.

Football.london have reported if Real Madrid enter serious negotiations for Eriksen then Spurs will use that in their quest for Ceballos, who would be a great replacement.
But according to the Guardian , a longer stay at Spurs for the Denmark international is looking more and more likely, due to the fact that he is 'short of options' for a move away from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
