Real Madrid's Endrick Transfer Deal Increases By Million

Real Madrid Basketball

Real Madrid's acquisition of Endrick from Palmeiras has proven to be a significant financial commitment for the Spanish giants. The initial transfer agreement between the two clubs amounted to $37.8 million (€35 million) for the young talent's services, with the potential to reach up to $65 million (€60 million) if certain incentives are met.

Since the deal was struck 14 months ago, an additional $10.8 million (€10 million) has been added to the total cost. This increase is attributed to specific performance-related clauses in the agreement.

Endrick's goal-scoring prowess has been a key factor in triggering these extra payments. For every five goals he scores for Palmeiras, Real Madrid is obligated to pay $2.7 million (€2.5 million). With the youngster already finding the back of the net 18 times, another payment will be due once he reaches the 20-goal mark.

Furthermore, Endrick's call-up to the Brazil national team has also triggered an additional payment of $2.7 million to Palmeiras. Despite missing out on the Paris 2024 Olympics, the young talent is in contention for a spot in Brazil's Copa America squad this summer.

Following his international commitments, Endrick will transition to Real Madrid and compete for playing time in a squad that boasts considerable talent, potentially including the likes of Kylian Mbappe.
