Real Madrid are reportedly open to the idea of selling Marco Asensio to Liverpool - but they want a player in exchange.
Asensio is a long-term Liverpool target, with Reds boss Jurgen Klopp previously showing an interest in the £85million-rated Spaniard.
Los Blancos boss Zinedine Zidane is in the process of a huge summer overhaul at the Bernabeu and has already made a number of big signings including Eden Hazard and Luka Jovic.
Asensio, along with the likes of Gareth Bale, meanwhile, is on a list of players who could be sold this summer - should Real Madrid receive a good offer for him.
And one offer that would certainly be well-received by Real Madrid is that of a player exchange with Liverpool.
According to the Express, Real Madrid would consider selling Asensio if the Reds allow Sadio Mane to go the other way.
Klopp is very unlikely to give this suggestion the light of day, as it would considerably weaken an important area of his team to strengthen another.
Mane won the Premier League's Golden Boot award last season and was instrumental in the Reds winning the Champions League against Tottenham.
