Real Madrid 'make £110million transfer bid plus Luka Modric for Neymar'

Real Madrid have made a last-gasp £110million bid plus Luka Modric for Neymar, according to reports.

The Paris Saint-Germain forward has been linked with a move away from France this summer with Barcelona his most likely destination.

But the Catalan giants landed Antoine Griezmann instead, closing the door on a Camp Nou return for Neymar, who left Barcelona for a world record £198million back in 2017.

Real Madrid are realistically the only other team who can afford Neymar's transfer fee and wages, as well as offer him Champions League football.

Zinedine Zidane's side has already signed the likes of Eden Hazard and Ferland Mendy so far this summer but have previously been linked with a move for Neymar.

According to Spanish publication Sport, Los Blancos have launched a £110million bid plus Modric for the Brazil international.

The report adds that Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is very keen to get the deal done.

So much so that he has even contacted Neymar himself to offer him an identical pay packet to the one he already gets at PSG.

Real Madrid are waiting on confirmation from Neymar to complete the deal.
