Real Madrid 'line up £250m transfer swoop' for Kylian Mbappe after Thomas Tuchel row

Real Madrid are ready to test PSG with a £250m bid for star man Kylian Mbappe according to reports in Spain.

The French champions are currently locked in negotiations with the 20-year-old over a prolonged stay in Paris.

But Mbappe and his manager Thomas Tuchel came to blows on Saturday night when the forward took issue with the fact he was substituted.

It allowed the issues that are supposedly occurring between the pair to be played out in public - something the club won't have wanted as they attempt to warn off potential suitors.

But Los Blancos, who are long-term admirers of Mbappe, are prepared to offer a world record sum in an attempt to lure the World Cup winner to the Bernabeu, reports Mundo Deportivo.

PSG have moved quickly to try and build bridges between Tuchel and his star man by holding clear the air talks in front of the squad and sporting director Leonardo.

But the German manager is adamant he has the right to make the decisions and suggested the club take action over Mbappe's public outburst.

He said: "I'm the coach, someone has to decide who goes off and who comes in. It's me. Mbappe is very intelligent, he knows what he is doing. He doesn't like going off.

"These are not good images, but we are not the only club that has to deal with this sort of thing."

Mbappe scored PSG's fourth in their 5-0 win over Montpellier before being substituted with just over 20 minutes remaining.

He has bagged 14 goals in 16 Ligue 1 games this season as his relationship with Neymar continues to blossom.

Madrid fans have not been shy in their demand to see Mbappe move to the Spanish capital and could yet get their wish as they target their next Galactico.
