Real Madrid join Manchester United and Man City in Erling Haaland race and more transfer rumours

With the international break around the corner, the rumour mill is heating up ahead of the summer transfer window.

Both Manchester United and Manchester City have been linked with a host of players as they look to bolster their squads in the market this summer.

United and City are both keen to sign a striker and the paper talk is swirling with speculation on who could be heading to Old Trafford and the Etihad Stadium, respectively.

With that in mind, here's a look at the latest paper stories with a comprehensive round-up on the transfer rumours filling the back pages.

' Madrid target Haaland'

Marca report that Real Madrid are growing increasingly confident they will sign Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund.

MEN Sport understands that both Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and technical director John Murtough have agreed the Norwegian forward is the club's priority striker target this summer.

Man City, too, want to sign a striker, with Sergio Aguero's contract coming to an end.

The report states that Real believe that they are leading the race for not only Haaland, but also Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe.

The Frenchman has one year left on his current deal with the Ligue 1 club and has been linked with a move to City, as well as Liverpool.

United 'target' £50m Neto

Elsewhere, The Sun report that United will turn to Wolverhampton Wanderers star Pedro Neto to solve their right-wing problems.

The club chased Jadon Sancho last summer and remain interested in bolstering that position this summer, though Haaland remains the priority.

The 21-year-old has impressed for Wolves this term scoring and assisting five times in the Premier League and would command a fee of £50million, states the report.

Inter want Aguero

Out-of-contract Aguero is a target for Inter Milan, according to The Sun.

The Argentine is yet to agree on a new deal with City and looks increasingly likely to leave the club on a free transfer.

Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain have an interest in the 32-year-old, although Aguero is also open to staying in England with another top club, claims the report.

Inter are said to be monitoring the situation whilst also keeping tabs on Edinson Cavani at Manchester United.
