Real Madrid home kit 2019-20: Gareth Bale among stars to model new gold-tinged shirt

Real Madrid have unveiled a new, gold-adorned home shirt for the 2019-20 season as they look to re-establish their trophy-winning credentials.

13-time European champions Los Blancos are set to undergo a summer overhaul that is now all but certain to include the big-money arrival of Chelsea playmaker Eden Hazard after a disastrous season that saw them fail to win any major silverware while finishing 19 points off the title pace in LaLiga.

On Friday fans were able to see the new home shirt that Hazard is expected to hold aloft at the Santiago Bernabeu soon, with their refreshed, iconic white jersey now featuring gold trim and a singular gold ring sitting on each sleeve.

The Adidas logo and Fly Emirates sponsor are also in gold, which the manufacturer says pays 'homage to the success built by the Kings of Europe over 117 years of unmatched success.'

Gareth Bale - an Adidas athlete - appeared to feature prominently in the kit unveiling campaign alongside the likes of Luka Modric, Sergio Ramos, Karim Benzema and Toni Kroos, despite being widely expected to leave Real over the coming months.
