A row in Spanish football has forced Real Madrid to deny rumours they're keen on moving to ENGLAND.
Bernabeu president Florentino Perez is embroiled in a war of words with La Liga president Javier Tebas.
The row stems from Tebas' successful deal with CVC Capital Partners, a private equity firm whose attempt to purchase 10 per cent of the league was voted through by 38 out of 42 clubs this week with Real and Barcelona two of the four to vote against.
That led to a bombshell report from Mundo Deportivo that the club were considering upping sticks and trying to access the English Premier League.
But the club have since made it abundantly clear they won't be doing anything of the sort as they branded the rumour "absurd".
A statement read: "Given the information published today by the newspaper Mundo Deportivo, in which it says that our club studied the possibility of moving from La Liga to the Premier League, Real Madrid wants to assert that this information is completely false, absurd and impossible.
"It only intends to disturb, once more, the day to day running of our club."
