Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane admits 'something could happen soon' as Inter Milan chase Achraf Hakimi

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has hinted that in-demand right-back Achraf Hakimi could leave the club in the coming days.

Achraf has spent the past two seasons at Borussia Dortmund and was expected to return to Los Blancos this summer after his impressive performances in the Bundesliga.

But in recent days, it has emerged that the 21-year-old could be sold with an option to return to the Santiago Bernabeu in the future.

Inter Milan are keen on the Moroccan and reports from Italy claim the Nerazzurri are willing to pay €40 million for the youngster, who would seem ideal as a wing-back for Antonio Conte's side.

Speaking ahead of Thursday's LaLiga game against Getafe, Zidane said: "He's our player and anything can happen.

"Here, there's the financial side and the sporting side and we know how things are.

"It's not the moment to talk about that, although something could happen shortly. There's a club, a player and a coach. There are things that are decided and that's that."
