Coronation Street stars Joe Duttine and Sally Carman found an exhilarating way to see in the new year.
The real-life couple stripped to their underwear on New Year's Day and went for a swim in the freezing sea in Scotland.
The Corrie actress, who plays Abi Franklin in the soap, said on social media: "Me, my dog and @Joe_Duttine jumped in the Atlantic for a swim today in our undies ( not the dog - he was fully naked and couldn’t care less).
"Best start to a new decade ever. Here’s to new beginnings and fresh starts."
And sharing a video clip of the couple braving the blustery weather before their swim, she said: "We went for a near-naked swim in the North Sea after this was taken #icantbelieveiteither #bloodytruethough."
When fans asked for picture evidence of the near naked swim, she obliged with a collection of snaps showing the pair entering the water, and Sally running back out with a horrified expression on her face.
"Because you asked...#scottishsea," she said.
"I love that you can see the horror of how cold it is, written all over your face, without the need to zoom," said one follower.
"Wow!!! Fair play guys!!! I couldn’t do that!!!" exclaimed another.
"I was going to ask if it was cold, but zooming in on your expression in picture three says it all!" said another follower.
"Bonkers x" commented their co-star Sally Ann Matthews who plays Jenny Bradley.
"I’ve lost the plot Sal x" Sally replied.
Last month fans rushed to congratulate the pair as they revealed their new home together.
Sally cuddled up with her man, who plays Tim Metcalfe, in a dressing gown as she shared her delight with her Instagram followers.
"We’re in #homesweethome #thelightisntwonkyhonest," she captioned the snap taken in their kitchen, along with a love heart.
