Real Housewives star Tanya Bardsley's joy over double celebration

The Real Housewives of Cheshire star Tanya Bardsley had two big reasons to smile this weekend.

The entrepreneur is celebrating her son Renz turning eight today with a football theme.

And the celebrations for Renz, complete with a black, white and red balloon arch and a cardboard cut-out of the birthday boy in a Manchester United kit, came a day after his footballer dad Phil signed a contract extension with Burnley Football Club.

Mother-of-four Tanya wrote alongside photos of the day on her Instagram: "Happy birthday to our hilarious baby boy Renzy boy he’s a big boy 8 today.

"He brings us so much joy our funny little talented boy from footy to taking off peoples accents we couldn’t love you any more if we tried our special boy."

Renz also had a aeroplane-style set-up and sipped fruity drinks.

On Saturday a proud Tanya, 39, posted moving words about the exciting news for her hubby Phil, 35.

"Congratulations to my amazing hubby @phil_bardsley he has signed another contract extension with Burnley today," she wrote.

"I’m so proud of you Phillip you are a inspiration to me and the kids we love you so much.

"Eighteen years in the premiership is some going it’s testament to your hard work and dedication."

Phil has signed a new contract that will keep him at Turf Moor throughout next season until summer 2022.

Tanya has starred in the ITVBe reality show since its launch in 2015.

She also has a daughter Gabriella, 19, and sons Rocco, 11, and Ralphi, four.

Last month Tanya made her followers laugh with a comical video showing behind-the-scenes in the Bardsley home.

The glam mum was posing for the camera when Renz attempted to stand in her way.

Without missing a beat she gave her son a jokey shove.

The camera then panned to Renz playfully sprawled on the floor.

"When your kid nearly ruins your picture #banter #notserious," Tanya wrote.

And she praised her boy's acting skills.

"I did think Renz was gona be footballer but I think an actor now," she said.
