Real Housewives star Tanya Bardsley has her entire house disinfected after her family got Covid-19

Real Housewives of Cheshire star Tanya Bardsley brought in a cleaning team to disinfect her home after her family had coronavirus.

Mother-of-four Tanya, who is married to Burnley footballer Phil Bardsley, had her entire house disinfected after she and her husband and her daughter Gabriella, 19, had COVID-19.

The reality TV star shared video on her Instagram of the team at work in the kitchen and a bedroom.

She wrote: "Huge Thankyou to @vaxinol_uk for coming and doing a full disinfectant for me and Phil, giving us that extra piece of mind to be clean and safe at such a scary time."

In a video to her Instagram followers she said the clean was to 'get rid of germs' after their illness.

"We've had had corona in this house, we've all recovered obviously," she explained.

The 39-year-old Real Housewives of Cheshire original cast member recently told us how she spent weeks self-isolating after she and her hubby, 35, and Gabriella all contracted the coronavirus.

She filmed the finale of the latest series earlier this month after her isolation period ended.

She told us: "My daughter had it, my husband had it and I had it.

"We all had it at different times so we had two weeks of isolation, another two and then another two."

Tanya suffered from a dry cough and a temperature.

Thankfully her sons Rocco, 11, Renz, seven and Ralphi, four, were all fine.

In September production company Monkey confirmed some cast members were having to isolate after cameras started rolling on the 12th series series.

However, filming was able to continue on the ITVBe docudrama with those unaffected.

Dawn Ward, another one of the original cast since the show launched in 2015, and her family tested positive for coronavirus following a family holiday.

She said she felt 'shocking' after she and her husband Ashley and their two youngest daughters were struck down.

And fellow cast member Lauren Simon also tested positive but didn't have symptoms.

Her news put an end to what was meant to be a girls' trip to London organised by newcomer Lystra Adams.

While this meant some of the cast had to return home to Cheshire Lystra, Tanya and castmate Hanna Kinsella were able to continue the trip without them because they hadn't had contact with Lauren.
