Real Housewives star jokes she's 'going straight on the pill' after second child following shock pregnancy

Real Housewives of Cheshire’s Hanna Kinsella drops a baby bombshell on Monday night’s episode of the reality TV show.

And it’s not just her co-stars who are reeling from her pregnancy revelation.

No-one was more shocked than Hanna to find out that baby number two was on the way.

Cosmetic dentist Hanna, who already has an eight-month-old son Max with husband Martin, says the pregnancy was totally unplanned.

“I was really getting to grips with the idea of waiting until Max was about two or three before we even started trying for another one so as you can imagine it was a complete shock to the system when we realised that I was pregnant,” she said.

“But now I’ve come to terms with it, I feel like it’ll be really nice because I’ll have a close age gap between the two and they’ll be best friends.”

Hanna says she and Martin haven’t yet found out the gender of the baby, and they’re not planning a big reveal like they had with Max.

But the couple are hoping for a girl.

“I really want to have a girl then I’ll have one of each,” she added.

"If it is a girl then it’ll obviously be different to having Max so that will be lovely, but if it’s another boy as long as it’s healthy we’ll both be very happy.

“We’re swaying towards finding out before the birth just because I don’t think I can wait that long. If we do, it won’t be such a big show as we did last time, it’d just be nice to get a few friends and family together and do a small reveal.”

The pregnancy so far has been smooth sailing, with just some nausea in the early stages, and Hanna says her only other symptoms have been fatigue and lack of energy.

She’s hoping that comes back soon, especially with preparing to add another baby into a hectic schedule of work and filming.

“I think it’s going to be a big step going from one to two because we already have a very busy lifestyle,” she said.

“We both run multiple businesses and obviously I film for the Housewives as well so at times it feels like chaos, organised chaos but that’s how it feels. I think another baby in the mix is going to add to that but I’m sure we’ll get through it OK.”

As for plans to expand their family even more, Hanna jokes they’re definitely on hold for now.

“I’ve always said I’d love a big family, but I think my hands are going to be very full with two so after this one I’m going straight on the Pill! I think two will do me fine for now," she said.

The Real Housewives of Cheshire continues Mondays at 9pm on ITVBe.
