Real Housewives star has a message for fellow divorcees after a life-changing 2021

The Real Housewives of Cheshire star Lauren Simon is looking forward to a bright future in 2022 after a life-changing year.

The mother-of-two is settling into a new home after moving out of the house she shared with her ex husband.

And it's a major turning point for Lauren, who split from property millionaire businessman Paul Simon after 13 years of marriage in 2016.

She told us: "It's the end of a six year journey and none of us like change.

"I'm glad to see the end of 2021 and I hope for me next year is a much better year.

"I need to say goodbye to 2021."

This year Lauren launched her own dog 'pawfume' range at laurenstonecollections.com - a posh fragrance for dogs which smells exactly like Lauren's Lauren Stone Number One perfume which she launched in 2016.

And Lauren, who proudly introduced her eldest daughter Gigi, 17, on the latest series of the ITVBe hit reality show, has a message for fellow divorcees.

"All I would like to say is 'there is light at the end of the tunnel'," she said.

"I've had messages asking me how I continued.

"When things get bad and dark and you think 'how do you do it?' just think 'you can.'

"Turn to those around you and expect miracles."

Last year Lauren, one of the original Housewives, returned to the hit reality show after leaving in 2018 while going through the divorce proceedings.

After returning to the fold for the 11th series Lauren opened up about her grief after her father Alan Goldstone passed away in one of his favourite places, Marbella, last August.

And she she says the entrepreneur and hairdresser would have been highly amused by her collection for pampered pooches.

"I think he'd think it was funny," she said.

"He had 10 hair salons in places including Wigan, Bolton, Atherton and Manchester.

"I'm a terrible hairdresser but I remember spraying a big English sheepdog bright pink.

"Every time I wash my dog I think of that."

On Christmas Eve Lauren will be making a guest appearance with the Lauren Stone Collections at Dunham Barn in Altrincham from 12pm to 2pm.

Visitors will be able to sample the pawfume as well as meeting Lauren and Santa.
