The Real Housewives of Cheshire's Nermina Pieters-Mekic has celebrated her 30th birthday with some VIP guests.
Nermina, the wife of Premier League footballer Erik Pieters, spent her landmark birthday with her man and their pet dogs.
The doting 'dog mom' shared a snap of herself with Boxer Simba and Maltese Blue, who have their own Instagram page, and their Bosnian rescue dogs Luca, a German Shepherd cross, and Retriever Archie.
The singer said her pets were 'the most important guests' at her 'little birthday party' with the hashtag 'dogmomlife.'
"Gorgeous pic," said one fan.
"Best way to celebrate," agreed another follower.
Nermina, a guest star on the ITVBe reality show The Real Housewives of Cheshire, found Luca and Archie abandoned on the streets as pups during a visit to her birth country Bosnia last year.
The singer organised vaccinations, paperwork, passports and microchipping for the puppies at a shelter and arranged for them to be transported to her parents' house in the Netherlands.
She then drove through the night to collect them.
"Because I was born there I know how many stray dogs there are. I would love to have my own charity one day," she told us previously.
"I've always said I wanted rescue dogs because they deserve a chance."
Nermina was showered with gifts, flowers and cards for her special day in lockdown, and she enjoyed a high tea and a candlelit meal evening meal with her Burnley FC player husband Erik, 31.
"I’m such a lucky girl @erikpieters3," she told him.
"Thank you for making my birthday so magical.
"I’ve enjoyed every minute I love you."
In another Instagram post she wrote to her followers: "Thank you so much for all the birthday wishes and presents.
"I felt really loved even tho we were not allowed to celebrate all together.
"My beautiful, amazing husband @erikpieters3 did a great job with the beautiful decoration, the high tea and in the evening the private dining.
"I’m very lucky and very spoiled."
Nermina became a Real Housewife in 2017 and was one of the main stars in series six and seven.
She couldn't film as much after moving to France, when Erik was on loan for French team Amiens, and now appears as a guest star on the show which follows the lives of a group of wealthy and glamorous women living in Cheshire.
