Real Housewives star and her teen daughter 'look like sisters' in matching tracksuits

Tanya Bardsley is known for her glam gowns and glitzy heels on the reality TV show The Real Housewives of Cheshire, but she revealed her casual fashion flair as she posed for the camera with her teenage daughter Gabriella.

Tanya, 39, and Gabriella, 19, were twinning in matching tracksuits in khaki green and black, joined by Tanya and her husband Phil's eldest son Rocco, 11.

"I love it when me and @gabsxbardsleyxx are matching," wrote Tanya on her Instagram.

And fans said mother and daughter looked more like sisters.

"You look like sisters," one fan told Tanya, who is married to Burnley footballer Phil Bardsley.

"You look like sisters, gorgeous family," said another follower.

"Looking good," complimented another.

And another praised: "You look more like sisters than mother daughter."

The Real Housewives of Cheshire original cast member also looked incredible as she modelled her latest range for Salford fashion brand My Glam Style, sporting jeans, cosy knits and chunky boots.

The look was a departure from the usual sequins and sparkle worn by Tanya and her castmates on the ITVBe show.

It was good to see Tanya on top form after she recently opened up to her fans to say that lockdown had triggered her anxiety.

The entrepreneur shared a frank post with her Instagram followers along with a video of herself looking exasperated as her children did their school work at the table behind her.

Tanya, who has been open in the past about her mental health struggles, says her children not being able to go to school and socialise and fear that loved-ones might catch the virus had sent her 'into a spin.'

The reality TV favourite, who has a boutique in Wilmslow, told her followers: "I know there are so many people who are worse off than me but being in another lockdown has really triggered my anxiety again.

"Idea of my business being closed, the kids not being able to go to school to socialise with their friends and also the fear of loved ones maybe catching the virus has sent me into a spin."

The mum-of-four says she's decided to give up alcohol until her 40th birthday in April to help her to keep a 'clear head.'

She explained: "As you probably know I’ve suffered from a series of mental health problems in the past so to combat this I’m going to try to throw myself into whatever exercise I’m allowed to do, try to eat healthy and I’m also not going to drink alcohol until my 40th birthday in April.

"This probably seems daft to a lot of people, I don’t blame anyone for wanting to drink during this, but for me it can make me more edgy and I really don’t want to spiral so want to keep a clear head."

Tanya previously spoke candidly on the hit ITVBe show about battling anxiety and post-natal depression while feeling unwell during a girls' holiday in Palma in 2019.

After the scenes she told the M.E.N: “I am feeling much better.

“I am still on a low dose of antidepressants just because I am terrified of coming off them again. I am in a much better headspace."
