Real Housewives of Cheshire's Lauren Simon joins Tinder after £3million divorce

A reality star who was awarded £3million in a divorce deal is looking for love on Tinder.

Former Real Housewives of Cheshire favourite Lauren Simon is on the dating app under the username Lolly.

The profile shows 44-year-old Lauren clutching a pint, plus a promo shot used on her social media. One fan said: “I recognised her straight away.”

Lauren divorced property mogul husband Paul Simon in 2016 after 13 years of marriage and two children.

Her payout caused a row when Paul appealed, arguing it was too big.

In May he told Manchester’s Court of Appeal he is effectively cashless and accused a judge of discriminating against him as the breadwinner.

Lauren’s lawyers argued that the ITVBe show – which follows the lavish lives of wealthy women in the Cheshire area – brought limited income.

They said Lauren has “no skills or material earning capacity” to support herself and her family.

In June, she told a local paper: “I’m still fighting this situation. I think there should be a cap on divorce to be honest.

“After a year, whatever the situation is, it should be over.

“Finances, children, everything, a year. It’s unfair. It really is mentally debilitating but I’m getting to a happier place.”

A string of celebs have popped up on Tinder, where 50 million users “swipe right” to show interest in a potential match – or left to move on.

Model Katie Price and singers Will Young and Lily Allen have given it a go.
