Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ star Erika Jayne is getting divorced from Tom Girardi after 21 years.
News of the split reality stars' split has stunned the showbiz world.
Erika announced the separation and said it had been her decision.
The pair have a 33-year age gap as Erika is 49 and Tom is 81.
Erika said: ""After much consideration, I have decided to end my marriage to Tom Girardi," she told E! News.
"This is not a step taken lightly or easily. I have great love and respect for Tom and for our years and the lives we built together.
"It is my absolute wish to proceed through this process with respect and with the privacy that both Tom and I deserved... I request others give us that privacy as well."
Erika and Tom's first met at Chasen's in West Hollywood.
The stunning blonde was a cocktail waitress and her future husband was a frequent visitor to the popular hotspot.
They were engaged to be married after just six weeks and tied the knot in a romantic ceremony in 1999.
In a furious foul-mouthed tirade, Erika previously shut down haters who trolled their 33-year age gap.
She said: "I’m tired of having to justify my 20-year marriage.
"Go get a 20-year marriage and then come f**king talk to me."
Erika was married to Thomas Zizzo before meeting Tom and the former couple share son Tommy Rizzo, 26.
