Real Betis make Liverpool dig after completing Nabil Fekir transfer from Lyon

It has been announced that former Liverpool transfer target Nabil Fekir has completed a permanent move to Real Betis from Lyon.

The France international is believed to have made the La Liga switch for a reported fee in the region of £17.7million.

Betis, who confirmed they had signed the World Cup winning midfielder on Monday, fired a subtle dig towards Liverpool on social media.

The La Liga outfit shared a picture of the 26-year-old on Twitter and wrote: "In perfect medical condition."

This is in response to Fekir's proposed Liverpool deal collapsing over the club's medical concerns.

Following the breakdown of his Anfield move Fekir has now penned a four-year deal with the Seville-based side.
