Reading paper takes knives petition to No 10

The Reading Evening Post's campaign demanding action to combat knife crime has reached 10 Downing Street. Envoys from the paper's "Knives Cost Lives" campaign handed a petition to the prime minister's office calling on the government to increase sentences for the possession and use of a knife, and to improve the education of young people about the dangers of carrying a weapon.
