Reading & Leeds 2019 line up and tickets: The 1975, Foo Fighters, Post Malone and Twenty One Pilots announced as headliners

The 1975, Foo Fighters, Post Malone and Twenty One Pilots have been announced as the headliners of Reading and Leeds festivals.

The four acts will top the bill at the joint events next year, while a host of other names have also been confirmed to perform.

Bastille, Blossoms, The Amazons, Sundara Karma, Stefflon Don, Yungblud, Pale Waves, Billie Eilish and Bowling For Soup are also among the newly announced acts.

The 1975 will headline the joint events for the first time, having last performed there 2016, while Foo Fighters last headlined the two festivals in 2012.

Rapper and singer Post Malone released his hugely successful second album Beerbongs & Bentleys in 2018, while Twenty One Pilots previously announcing a series of huge UK tour dates for next year, including two nights at London’s Wembley Arena.

The events take place from August 23-25 at Reading’s Richfield Avenue and Leeds’ Bramham Park respectively.

Tickets go on sale from 9am on November 23. They will be available for purchase here.

Last year's festivals were headlined by Mumford & Sons, Metallica and The Libertines.
