Reading boss Veljko Paunovic makes Steve Cooper admission ahead of Nottingham Forest clash

Reading boss Veljko Paunovic has been impressed with Nottingham Forest's progress since Steve Cooper took charge at the City Ground.

Before Chris Hughton's was relieved of his managerial duties in September, Forest were winless in the opening seven games of the season and only had one point to their name.

But the Reds have since restore to life from rock bottom of the Championship table, registering five wins and one defeat so far as they sit 13th place.

Just four points off sixth placed Queens Park Rangers, the Reading boss has praised the work achieved by the Welshman.

"They have recovered very well with their form," Paunovic told BerkshireLive.

"They have had a couple of setbacks, but they are a team looking to find their consistency, the same as us, and it is going to be a very interesting match-up.

"We will have this encounter with a team with good qualities and areas we will try to exploit."

Forest will travel to the Select Car Leasing Stadium on Saturday (November 20, 3pm kick-off) to face the Royals.
