Love songs are a dime a dozen. There are lots of them – too many, in fact. And the bad ones pile cliche on cliche until they're as throwaway as a stack of romantic novels at a railway station.
True romance is precious, so it's difficult for an artist to capture sincerely and without falling into sentimentality.
