Did you know the word "whisky" derives from the Gaelic for "water of life?" Well, I did, because I just Googled "whiskey + etymology." Doing that high level of journalistic research is pretty much my job – which is why, when I get home this evening, I'll be drinking some whiskey. Anyway: this week's readers recommend is all about whiskey. You'd probably gathered that already.
Suggest your favourite songs about whiskey below, and see if any of them are good enough to be picked for next week's Readers' recommend playlist.
