As regular Readers Recommend participants will know, for the last 18 months the series has been under the stewardship of Jon Dennis.
Alas, no more: Jon has decided to retire from putting together the topic and results threads each week, and his last post, calling for songs about mirrors, went up on Thursday night.
With Jon no longer in the driving seat, we thought it would be a good idea to hand over control to the Readers Recommend community (in keeping with the Guardian's drive for increased openness, of course). Each week a different reader could look after compiling the playlist and setting a new topic for us, making it a truly reader-centric operation.
With that in mind, are there any RR regulars who would be interested in putting together the playlist for next week, taking the best suggestions from this week's thread?
