It has been one of the most toxic campaigns in history, but in a month’s time, we will know the identity of the next US president.

Insurgent Republican candidate Donald Trump’s campaign remains mired in controversy.

Trump’s poll ratings have taking a battering and Republican grandees have deserted him after the release of a recording in which he bragged about using his celebrity status to sexually assault women.

Meanwhile Hillary Clinton has been criticised both on policy and for her inability to inspire, with many arguing she has not done enough to reach out to supporters of her defeated rival candidate Bernie Sanders.

We’re looking for international readers’ views on the US presidential election. Whether you’d rather Trump or Clinton ends up in the White House, let us know where you’re from, what you’ve made of the campaign so far – and how you think a Trump or Clinton presidency will affect you and your country.
