Readers miss meeting family the most over bleak months of lockdown

After months of lockdown ECHO readers told us meeting family is what they miss most, our new survey has revealed.

Out of the 4,561 who responded, 23% said not being able to meet family was what they were most aggrieved about.

This was followed by not seeing or going out with friends at 20%.

Other activities missed the most were: Travelling abroad (14%); travelling around the UK (11%); and going to the pub (10%).

A range of other entries filled the remaining 22%.

Going on holiday proved to be the most popular thing people will do first when all this is over, followed by booking a holiday, and then seeing and meeting family.

The Liverpool City Region is currently in the highest (Tier 3) category of coronavirus lockdown restrictions, meaning people must not meet anybody outside their household or support bubble in any indoor or outdoor setting, whether at home or in a public space.
