Read Tim Morrison's opening statement in the impeachment hearing

Former National Security Council official Tim Morrison testified alongside former special envoy to Ukraine Kurt Volker on Tuesday in the second public impeachment hearing of the day.

The big picture: In a short opening statement, Morrison said that he does not know who the whistleblower is and that he has great respect for other colleagues in the NSC. He begged lawmakers not to lose sight of the importance of the military conflict going on in eastern Ukraine today.
